Although I tend to wear many neutral tones along with whites and blacks, I do love my pops of color! When i was in Miami, FL 2 months ago, I was walking into Ted Baker and I spotted near the back, a gorgeous neon embossed clutch. Needless to say, I quickly purchased it and it’s been well loved ever since! This summer, I’m all about playing with textures, colors, and different shapes. As you can see, the textural and shapely skirts are popping up everywhere in various retail stores like Zara, Aritzia, Club Monaco, BCBG Max Azria etc., but it’s been on the runway for countless seasons. Although I don’t like to wear many straight across skirts, I do love skirts and skorts with interesting elements such as the tulip skirt I’m wearing above from Zara.  Some elements I adore about this outfit is the pop of color, the large lace-like crop, the skirt shape (which I already mentioned), and the glass heel in one of my favorite Michael by Michael Kors Shoes. I love how fresh a pop of color adds to white, especially in a neon shade, but, I also just love the shade white itself (which is probably why I own so many white pieces). If you’re ever wondering what the next item you should add to your wardrobe, I would definitely recommend buying something in a bright eye-catching color; it is summer after all, so try something new!

What I’m Wearing: White Crop Top with Mesh Overlay – Zara, Grey Tulip Skirt – Zara, Mirabella Sandal – Michael by Michael Kors, Sunglasses – Michael by Michael Kors, 3 Leaf Gold Necklace – Matoto on Etsy

*Thank you Matoto for the lovely necklaces – I am in love <3*
