Unless you’re being driven everywhere you go, I don’t think you can survive cold Canadian winters without a solid winter jacket. Back when Canada Goose were all the rage, I looked for a simpler and more versatile jacket rather than the bright colors and large logo on the arm. When I had tried on some of the Goose jackets, I found they clashed with my outfits more than complemented them. I discovered the perfect brand, Mackage, that carried some of the most chic outerwear I had ever seen with the belief that outerwear is an integral element of fashion. Other than the fact that the jacket I have on above is 90% down, it is also light and has a double zip layer. The price can be a little high for some, but then again it’s about the same as Canada Goose. With the weather being in the low negative twenties to thirties some days, I am glad to have this essential winter must-have in my closet!
