Barcelona, Spain

I loved wandering around the small back streets in Barcelona, discovering local restaurants, art galleries, and small cafes. Barcelona did not have the same feel as Madrid as it was a bit more modern and eclectic. It’s known to be a great place for foodies and is constantly bustling with people.

A couple places I enjoyed during my visit:

Barceloneta Beach (you can take nice long strolls down the boardwalk while stopping by for a quick bite at a local beach hut)

La Sagrada Familia (amazing church designed by Gaudi where you can take a tour up to one of the tall finished towers. breathtaking architecture.)

Park Guell (if you’re into Gaudi’s style, this park looks like it comes out of a twisted version of Alice in Wonderland retrostyle)

Mercat de Sant Josep de la Boqueria (a large public market full of fresh produce, fruit, juices, and sweets!)

What are some of your favorite things to do in Barcelona? In Spain?
